A new era

In 2025, the Mercy return in a new form. Flatter and more precise, they adapt to the movements of modern climbing, where subtle placement replaces sheer power.

This reinterpretation goes far beyond a simple aesthetic overhaul: it flips the way grip is understood. The texture, once concentrated at the center of the hold, now extends outward, redefining how climbers interact with it.

Harder, Flatter, Stronger

The minimalist dual texture becomes a true route-setting tool: a visual and tactile contrast that guides movement, shapes body positioning, and enhances precision.

What does that give us? Slopers that are more demanding but above all, more expressive. The new Mercy aren’t here to replace their predecessors; they build on them, turning their own shaping style on its head.

The Birth of an Icon

Born in 2019, the Mercys have gradually become a symbol of Artline and a visual landmark in climbing gyms around the world.
Their unmistakable design, both sleek and powerful, made them one of the first fiberglass macro ranges to stand out.

Created to embody Artline’s philosophy of blending aesthetics, performance, and innovation, the Mercys quickly found their place on the walls and in the collective imagination of climbers.
An essential range that captures and anchors the very spirit of Artline.

L’évolution vers la durabilité

The story of the Mercys continued in 2022 with a new challenge: reducing environmental impact without losing their identity.

It was then that Artline partnered with Ghold, a young French company pioneering the production of recycled and recyclable thermoplastic holds.
This collaboration gave birth to the Little Mercy.

A natural first step for Artline, whose vision is rooted in a more responsible transition.
